# Prepare a sibling in an existing household

## 1. Confirm the exact school and record

This uses the real app editor with synthetic training records. Check the school, family or employee before changing a field.

## 2. Start a new child within this family

Use Add beside the child selector. Keep the existing household rather than creating another family.

## 3. Enter the child identity

Enter the child’s actual legal name, preferred name and date of birth. These example values are synthetic.

## 4. Set the planned enrollment state

Choose the verified status. Pending is appropriate only when supported by the enrollment record; do not activate care merely to bill a fee.

## 5. Review before saving

Review the family and new child before Add child. After an authorized save, reopen the household and verify both children. Tuition is a separate step.
